NONA MKRTCHYAN    

Starting dance at a young age in Yeghegnadzor, Armenia, Nona continued her dance education at Abovian Pedagogical University and graduated with her Masters in dance education. She was part of the Berd Dance Assembly in Armenia where she traveled throughout Europe and the United States performing for Armenian and non-Armenian communities. Nona has received many awards and recognition for her dancing and is also a UNESCO member. After many years of teaching and choreographing in Armenia Nona is excited to continue teaching since moving to the United States in 2021.
